Field Displacement

Field Displacement or Tilted Field:
A displaced field, or tilted field, is where a break occurs and causes the field on one side of the break to be higher than the other side. The example below is from an 1887-O VAM-5B and the displaced/tilted field is at 12 o'clock, just to the left of the B in PLURIBUS.
