Later die state of 1887-P VAM-25 where an exciting die break forms as a small lump of metal on the bottom of the D of DOLLAR. Part of the Top 100 set, and recently featured in VamView Issue.
The "Donkey Tail" is a coin even non-vam collectors want to own. It is possible to cherry pick these coins and they are often found in VF-XF condition. AU coins are very tough to find. Mint state Donkey Tails are truly ultra rare!
Exact same pair of dies as those that produced the 1887-P VAM-25.
