1887-O VAM-3 "7/6" Overdate
Discovered by Bob Reithe, February 1973.
This coin is a Top 100 Morgan VAM.

Obverse III2 3 - 7 repunched over 6 in date. The bottom loop of the 6 shows as a long curved line starting from the lower right bottom of the stem of the 7 and extending upwards almost half the digit height. On the left side of the stem, a short spike curves to the left and then up at a point one third the way up on the stem height.
Reverse C3a - Some specimens show depression in eagle's breast due to weak strike.
