Infrequent Reeding

Also known as "wide reeding", infrequent reeding refers to coins in which the number of edge reeds is significantly lower than normal. This occurs on a few VAMs, most notably a handful of 1921-P Morgans, all of which are Top 100 VAM varieties.
Below is a photo of six 1921-P Morgans. Coins 2 and 5 have infrequent reeding:
